Aime Leon Dore x Rainier 'Beige'
The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance Rainier ‘Beige’ brings back the archival hiking boot worn in 1982 by Lou Whittaker when he scaled the North Face of Mount Everest. Secured with D-ring lacing, the upper combines burgundy Cordura with tan nubuck overlays and a waterproof Gore-Tex lining. Branding elements include a Flying NB logo debossed on the saddle, a woven ALD label on the insole, and a nubuck NB/ALD tag atop the tongue. The boot is mounted on a full-length EVA midsole, rendered in a solid black finish and supported by a matching Vibram outsole.
